Sleep is vital to your growth as a teenager, in fact, if you screw up your sleep at any point in life, don't let it be in your teens. Modern society makes it hard to get the healthy amount of sleep you need, and when I was a teen, I would always question why I had to wake up at 6 am to go waste away in a classroom for 8 hours. However, school can seem a lot more enjoyable when your sleep is good - you can either be able to focus clearly on work, or have an amazing time making fun of your teacher if that's what you like.
